The 2024 GARBC Christian Character Scholarship competition has awarded a total of $19,500 to 18 high school seniors from Regular Baptist churches. The competition was open to high school seniors who exemplify Christian character and express an ongoing desire to serve God in local churches.
These scholarships are being funded and awarded by participating colleges. The GARBC Christian Character Scholarship fund gives matching dollar amounts as available. The colleges providing scholarships are Appalachian Bible College, Bob Jones University, Cedarville University, Clarks Summit University, Faith Baptist Bible College, and Shasta Bible College.
Whether students plan to pursue vocational ministry or enter the secular workforce, attending a Christian college or university helps students develop a Biblical worldview to start their careers on the right foot and prepare to serve in churches.
