Ankeny (Iowa) Baptist Church hosted Back on Track, a two-day conference for seventh- through twelfth-graders.
Jeriah Shank, pastor of Slater (Iowa) Baptist Church, spoke on the theme “Defend: Impacting Our World.” The two hundred students learned about “The Ultimate Question: Three Reasons I Believe God Exists” and “How to Have Spiritual Conversations.”
In a Q and A the final morning, he answered students’ questions about defending their faith.
“Kids are starving for answers to their questions, and I love getting to be an instrument God uses to strengthen faith and to equip for ministry!” Jeriah says.
Back on Track is an annual event of the Iowa Association of Regular Baptist Churches and is organized by the association’s youth committee.
