Ministry Workers Attend Refine Conference

The Baptist Network Northwest partnered with Corban University to host the fellowship’s Refine Conference. Nearly 100 ministry workers attended the two-day event.

Meeting first at Corban University for its half-day Refresher Conference, guests heard from John Mark Yeats, president of the university, who spoke on “Ministering out of Fullness.” Corban’s School of Ministry faculty then led workshops.

Corban says partnering with the Baptist Network Northwest was a privilege, “reaching even more pastors and providing them a vital opportunity for rest and encouragement.”

That afternoon, attendees of the Refine Conference moved to Bethany Baptist Church, Salem, Oregon, for three workshops, a business meeting, and three sessions with Clare Jewell. Clare, now national representative of the GARBC, spoke on “Making Disciples.”

Tim Baker, pastor of Bethany Baptist Church, says, “The conference was saturated with great content, much fun, and good fellowship for all who attended.”
