James F. Dersham, who lived a long life in the service of the Lord across the country, died June 2. He was 96.
James was a pastor for 72 years, having ministered in New York, Ohio, Massachusetts, Illinois, Florida, and Tennessee, including at Tuscarora Baptist Church, Addison, New York.
He also served as executive director with the Fellowship of Baptists for Home Missions and as the managing editor and a Sunday School consultant for Regular Baptist Press.
His ministries touched many lives for God’s glory.
James is preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Eleanor.
He is survived by his children, James, Michael, and Paula Self; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
